UNLV is expecting a big turnout, opening extra seating at Allegiant Stadium, including the 300 level, which has only been used once before. It’s also a shot at redemption after the Rebels fell 44-20 to the Broncos in last year’s conference championship game. This Sin City clash between the Broncos (5-1) and the Rebels (6-1) is set to deliver plenty of excitement. Boise’s star, Ashton Jeanty, is coming in fresh after a second bye week—bad news for the Rebels. And with the energy already sky-high, the announcers are ready to crank it up even more. The former NFL running back, best known for his time with the Seattle Seahawks (including the famed “Legion of Boom” era), offers insights that only a former player can provide. Helping UNVL in stopping Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty
The Broncos junior RB, Ashton Jeanty, is the type of player who can make defensive coordinators lose sleep. Boise State’s #2 is on top of the Mountain West in rushing yards with at least 127 rushing yards in every game this season. Heisman running? You bet that, nah like literally. Even making Travis Hunter all nervous in their duel for that trophy.

UNLV’s rushing defense ranked no.19 this season will need to step up and play its best game of the season. By keeping Jeanty from getting to the second level where he’s most dangerous. Senior linebacker Jackson Woodard leads the Rebels with 63 tackles. They gotta swarm and gang-tackle Jeanty, as one-on-one situations usually end with him running through arm tackles. “There’s so many ways to attack it — or try to,” Rebels coach Barry Odom said of defending Jeanty. Looks like the HC is taking his opponent seriously, and we’re in for a treat this October 25th!
