Justin Marshall isn’t just any freshman. He’s someone who actually gave Ron Harris, a seasoned player, a run for his money! In his first college game against San Diego State, Marshall made history by rushing for 119 yards. That’s a big deal, as he’s the first freshman in the entire Rams program to hit the 100-yard mark in a debut. In just three games last season, running back Justin absolutely dominated, racking up 311 total yards and scoring 2 touchdowns. His best game was in the first game of the season, where he ran for 106 yards on 25 carries. Justin gave all the credit to his running back coach, Jeremy Moses. He said, “Moses gave me some flashcards. I wrote down the plays and memorized them.” It’s clear that Justin’s hard work and Moses’ coaching were a winning combo last year. Well, the Rams might not have had the best record last season (5-7), but the fans were pretty impressed with what they’ve got in the running back room: Marshall!
