Will Campbell has already created a major buzz in his two years at Louisiana State. The Tigers’ OT held it down at left tackle for 13 games, racking up 805 snaps on offense last fall. Not only that, the 6 ‘6 feet- 323-pound offensive tackle went into full lockdown mode, not letting a single sack happen all season, continuing his no-sack streak to an epic 15 games. Such performance has naturally made the superlative offensive lineman an obvious target for multiple brands.

Campbell’s NIL deals

The Campbells have a farm in Louisiana. Growing up on the farm, Will learned a lot about agriculture and the ways of the farm. Sunshine Quality Solutions, a John Deere equipment dealer that serves Louisiana and Mississippi, found their poster boy for their campaign in the Tigers OT.

In July 2023, Sunshine Quality Solutions inked a deal with Will Campbell. As per the agreement, the LSU OT would be Sunshine Quality and John Deere throughout the season. Sunshine marketing manager Grace Vest was also thrilled with having Campbell on their team. “Campbell has an agricultural background and grew up on a farm in Louisiana,” said Grace Vest. “He understands the hard work it takes to be in a field all day, and that is something we want to showcase in Louisiana. Tying our John Deere equipment to players on one of Louisiana’s favorite fields, Tiger Stadium, is a unique way to connect our brand to football.” The deal was made possible by the Ballengee Group. Earlier the same year, Sunshine got LSU linebacker Harold Perkins for their “Best Player in the Field” campaign in April.

Campbell has also struck a sweet deal with Electronic Arts, featuring in the much anticipated EA College Football 2025 game that was released this July. The deal allowed EA to use Campbell’s name, image, and likeness in the game. Apart from that, the Louisiana OT will additionally receive $600 and an exclusive copy of the game as part of the NIL deals that EA Sports worked out with the players.

Campbell’s future at LSU

After a promising season, Campbell is more ready than ever to tackle the opposition for the Tigers in his junior year. Despite his best friend quarterback Walker Howard transferring to Ole Miss last season, Campbell decided to stay back at Louisiana. A top 2025 draft prospect and the permanent team captain, Campbell is expected to protect the quarterback Garrett Nussmeier’s blind side this fall.

In his two years at Louisiana, Campbell played 1,687 snaps while letting only 3 sacks slip by. For Will Campbell’s incredible hustle on the field, he got the nod as a Second Team All-SEC in both 2022 and 2023. The elite OT stepped it up and made First Team All-SEC in 2023 too.
