Are you going to be my Valentine? What are your thoughts? There is so much compassion and kindness in this unique inquiry. Imagine how happy you would be to hear someone you love ask you this; it would make your heart skip a beat. Like a couple who have been together for 64 years and continue to celebrate Valentine’s Day in the same straightforward yet significant way, it’s quite touching. And now, it appears that Kristen, Nick Saban’s daughter, is also a part of this custom, having witnessed her parents’ 53-year marriage.

That is a long time indeed. In the late 1970s, Nick Saban and Miss Terry first became acquainted while attending Kent State University. Terry was a student, and Nick played football. They were able to connect early on because of their similar upbringing and shared ideals. Following some time spent together, Nick asked Terry to marry him in 1971, and the two were married later that year. In 2024, this couple celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary. And witnessing their bond to date, their daughter shares love for another such bond.

Kristen recently shared a heartfelt post, dropping a “❤️” on Instagram stories. A couple in the picture could be seen enjoying a special moment together. In which the spouse asked, “Will you be my Valentine?” The wife responded by saying, “What do you think? ” Then, the spouse paused for a moment before saying, in a joking manner, “You ain’t got no choice.” After a while, the wife said, “I’ve been your Valentine for 64 years.” It symbolizes the idea that love is timeless and only gets stronger with time.

Even after all these years, Valentine’s Day still feels new and exciting to the couple. And Kristen also senses the same connection between Miss Terry and Nick Saban. It’s about being in each other’s universe, cherishing one another, and finding happiness in the little things. And the relationship between Nick and Terry is a great example of this.

Together with ESPN, the CFP made a $300,000 pre-game donation. This contribution was given to “Extra Yard For Teachers” through the CFP Foundation. This campaign draws attention to its related “Touchdown for Teachers” effort, which is similarly associated with the NFL. This initiative started out as a way to give money to football coaches who work with students in kindergarten through high school. Each of the cities that hosted the playoffs received $300,000. Nick Saban and Miss Terry were undoubtedly honored to be associated with such a truly admirable cause.

Naturally, Kristen Saban, the daughter, was thrilled about her parents’ participation. A photo of Terry and Nick Saban handing the payment to the authorities was reposted on Instagram by Kristen. There were children all around the two who would gain from the cause. Given Kristen Saban’s fondness for children, she would have been especially pleased by that gesture. A simple yet powerful message is shown on a placard held by two men in the background.

Hope Kristen will continue to update us on her proud parents, Nick and Terry.
