NCAA Men’s Basketball brings an exciting clash between two ACC rivals today. The Duke Blue Devils host the Wake Forest Demon Deacons at the Cameron Indoor Stadium in only their seventh game so far.

The Blue Devils have had multiple canceled games this season. It was also their worst start in two decades, but they are slowly gaining momentum. They played their first game in over 20 days on Wednesday against the Boston College Eagles. It was a tough win for Duke, and they held on to win by one point.

NCAA Men’s Basketball: Can the Duke Blue Devils continue their winning run?

The Blue Devils are going to be without exciting freshman Jalen Johnson once again. He has missed their last two games, and there is still no news about his return. While the rest of their players should be available, the return of coach Mike Krzyzewski could boost them.

So their lineup could have DJ Steward, Jeremy Roach, and Jordan Goldwire as the starting guards, while Matthew Hurt and Mark Williams feature as the starting forwards.

The Demon Deacons have a lot of injured players on the roster currently. Anthony Mathis Jr, Ian DuBose, and Tariq Ingrahamare all out indefinitely. They also have a few more players who are questionable to feature like Emmanuel Okpomo, Grant Van Beveren, Miles Lester, and Quadry Adams.

Jonah Antonio, Carter Whitt, Isaiah Wilkins will continue to start as their guards, while Isaiah Mucius and Ody Oguama will start as the forwards.

With momentum and a deeper rotation on their side, the Blue Devils will be expected to win. They have been underperforming throughout the season, but they have stepped up recently. The Demon Deacons are depleted with so many injuries. So the Blue Devils need to seize the opportunity and play at their best to come away with a win.
