After being completely outplayed by the Michigan Wolverines in their last game, the Badgers are looking to find their way back to winning ways.

Their 10-3 record is still impressive, with wins against multiple ranked opponents. While Rutgers isn’t ranked currently, they are still a strong team, so it is still a big game for them.

The Scarlet Knights are currently in a bad slump. They have won 1 out of their last 5 games and are winless in 2021. After starting their season 6-0, it has gone completely wrong for them.

The Scarlet Knights need a win badly to put an end to their bad run, as they try to qualify for their first NCAA tournament since 1991.

NCAA Men’s Basketball: Can the Wisconsin Badgers shake off their loss?

The Badgers have had a good run so far with regards to injuries. None of their main 8 players have missed a single game so far, and so their lineup has been consistent.

They will start with D’Mitrik Trice and Brad Davison as their guards while Aleem Ford, Micah Potter, and Nate Reuvers will start as their forwards. Trice has been running the show so far, averaging 15.2 points while shooting 43% from three.

The Scarlet Knights, on the other hand, have had multiple rotational changes due to injuries. But for tonight’s game, they will be able to field their main players.

So their lineup will feature Jacob Young, Montez Mathis, and Geo Baker as their guards, with Ron Harper Jr and Myles Johnson starting as the forwards. Harper Jr will be their main player, but they need him to fire tonight.

The Badgers will be the obvious favorites in this game. They will not dwell on their previous loss since the Wolverines were the better team. But tonight they will be aiming to come away with nothing but a win.

Their main concern will be to stop Harper Jr, but he is already struggling. The Badgers defense is one of the best in the country, and if they can do what they do best, it will be an easy win for them.
