Alicia Tournebize’s EuroBasket 2025 Stats

Alicia Tournebize put the basketball world on notice at the U18 EuroBasket–and she did it in style! During the bronze medal game against Belgium, Alicia announced her arrival. With France comfortably ahead 61–31 and 8:22 left on the clock, Tournebize read a pick-and-roll perfectly, jumped the passing lane, and came away with a clean steal. What happened next left everyone watching in absolute awe.

Just two dribbles after Alicia made the steal, she was at the rim, rising up and throwing down a smooth two-handed dunk like it was no big deal. This was the highlight reel that made the whole world take notice. France went on to win the game 72-47, and Alicia Tournebize was at the heart of it all. She scored 19 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, and gave out 3 assists. But that wasn’t all! She also went 8-12 shooting from the field.

It wasn’t just the dunk that was praiseworthy– Alicia also had a great tournament in the U18 Eurobasket, and her stats are worth taking a look at!

She also secured a place on France’s roster for the 2024 FIBA U17 Women’s Basketball World Cup, playing a key role in their impressive fourth-place finish. And if you’re wondering how she did individually, here’s a quick look at how she performed in the tournament.

Alicia Tournebize’s Playing Style & Strengths

It goes without saying that Alicia’s biggest strength is her size. Her ability to guard the paint is second to none. That was in full display during the 2025 U18 EuroBasket, where she averaged 8.9 rebounds and 2 blocks a game. But that’s not all! The fact that she can dunk makes her a truly rare talent in the modern game!

For those who might not know, Alicia made history by becoming the first French woman to dunk in a game. She achieved this feat during an NF2 league game while playing for Espoirs de Bourges. Now it’s pretty clear that she is destined for the WNBA in the future. But did you know that there have only been 37 dunks in WNBA history, and Brittney Griner alone accounts for 27 of them? That puts into perspective just how rare a talent Alicia truly is in today’s game.

With a Cleveland-based franchise set to join the W before 2030, it would be almost poetic to see Alicia Tournebize become the face of that team. For those unfamiliar, her mother, Isabelle Fijalkowski, played for the now-defunct Cleveland Rockers, averaging 12.8 points and 6.2 rebounds over two seasons.
