Genshin Impact replicates Fall Guys with upcoming Windblume festival

The Lantern Rite festival celebrated in Liyue Harbor was a huge success. Players could finally shift their focus from the repetitive in-game tasks, and try out several exciting events like ‘All That Glitters’, ‘Stand by Me’, and ‘Theater Mechanicus’.

Following a similar approach, Mondstadt will now host the Windblume festival as soon as 1.4 update arrives. During this festival, players can experience mini-games and unusual game modes, which include shooting balloons and gliding. Moreover, they will give essential items that can be used to upgrade and refine an upcoming four-star event bow.

The Windblume festival will also comprise some challenges that will compel the participants to push their limits. A special hilichurl arena, similar to the Spiral Abyss, will offer lucrative rewards depending on the chosen difficulty.

Gacha Gamer talked about the Windblume festival in a recent video:

Most interestingly, a game mode named Peculiar Wonderland will also make its way to Genshin Impact. It will involve a series of levels where players need to jump, avoid obstacles, and navigate to the end. These mechanics clearly resemble one of the biggest battle royale games of 2020, Fall Guys.

Spiral Abyss finally gets a restart button

Ever since the release of Genshin Impact, there have been demands for a restart button in the Spiral Abyss. Currently, the Spiral Abyss forces the players to leave the domain and restart the challenge altogether. With the 1.4 update, miHoYo has finally added a restart button for each floor, which will save a lot of time.

With the help of another new feature, users can now decrease their world level. Even though it will affect the world rewards to some extent, progressing in the game will become a much easier process.

Last, but not least, miHoYo has removed the restrictions on Condensed Resin. This implies that players can carry an additional amount of Condensed Resin and farm for their desired materials comfortably.
