According to Twitter user Craig, Until Dawn on PlayStation 4 has virtually no loading time now. Craig spotted the difference following the patch update, which significantly improved load times for a few titles.

He tweeted “Right, so it appears these #PS5 B/C updates that #PS4 games are getting are even having a huge effect on load times on the current gen system. Case in point: #UntilDawn on #PS4 now doesn’t load at all. This tech must have been used in #GhostOfTsushima ?? Very impressive!”

This indeed great news for the fans considering improved load times will also improve the game’s overall experience. Although, this will be a common sight when it comes to playing titles on the PS5. Its lightning-fast SSD will ensure that games will load almost instantly. Sony has already shown games like Ratchet & Clank, Godfall with almost zero load screens. This will definitely be a game-changer and prove to be useful for next-gen games.

The PS5 also recently confirmed great news about its backwards compatible titles. Around 99% of the PlayStation 4 games will be backwards compatible, where the PS5 will improve the performance of a lot of them.
