Sha’Carri Richardson’s rival’s win at the Zurich Diamond League
After a month-long hiatus, on August 31, the 11th round of the Diamond League was held in Zurich. Jamaican legend Shericka Jackson, with her strong form on the 200-meter race track, was able to bring another victory for Team Jamaica. The 29-year-old Jackson dominated over the Swiss tracks by clocking in at 21.82 seconds, making her win time just four-hundredths of a second slower than her staunch win on the Budapest tracks. Following Jackson, Great Britain’s Daryll Neita, captured the second position on the podium with 22.25, while Team USA again settled for the third position with Kayle White clocking in at 22.33.
All in all, Shericka Jackson is still dominating the 200-meter track. Hopefully, the athlete will keep on maintaining her zeal and uplift the prestigious Diamond Trophy for her country in the 200m in Eugene whilst breaking the legendary world record.
