**TLDR** — In a near-dead-heat verdict, 34% of 361 polled fans say the Chase format has finally exposed Joey Logano's shortcomings, declaring he's "not dominant anymore" and "can't get away with a lot of his antics." But an identical 34% refuse to write him off, with one reader insisting the three-time champ is sitting on "Hall of Fame numbers" and others arguing Ford and Penske — not Logano — deserve the blame for failing to keep pace with the Toyotas under the Next Gen package. Another 29% say it's simply too early. A small 3% offered different takes, including the colorful warning that Logano is "like a bug — every time you think he's gone, there he is, sneaking in through the window." The jury, clearly, is still very much out.

The way NASACAR interprets, bends and changes rules from race to race, the whole thing is a crap shoot until the season gets almost to the end. So predictions at this stage mean nothing.

Joey is like a bug, every time you think he’s gone, there he is, sneaking in through the window. He’s got talent! The Bowman story is no surprise. It’s been coming as far back as last year. Corey Day was obvious! ME

Logano still has the capability to win races. Penske and the other Ford teams just have not had the consistent speed they need to get good results. Bring better cars, get better finishes.

NASCAR is completely dishonest. So mush BS not to do with the drivers try looking under their hoods. NASCAR fixes who wins & who loses. I hope someone takes over nascar and I believe it is happening.

With only Toyota find the balance on some of the cars both Fords and Chevys are either totally off and can not figure it all out seems that there is something off as for why has Toyota found it ( might it be due to the earlier law suit ) an NASCAR is throwing a Championship toward the Toyota to help ease bad feelings interesting though ???

Joey Lagano is still a great race car driver and the chase format has nothing to do with his recent slump. If blame is to be placed about it then it should be placed on Ford and Penske for not keeping up with the next gen cars and not on Lagano. That's my take and I'm pretty sure we'll see Lagano in victory lane soon. Maybe even real soon if Ford and Penske can give him the car to compete with the Toyotas!
