**TLDR** — The verdict is in, and it's a landslide: 78% of 433 voters want Dodge to fill the void if Ford steps back from the O'Reilly Series. Honda trailed at 14%, with Hyundai limping in at just 3%, while 5% pitched their own picks. The comments doubled down on the nostalgia and muscle-car patriotism fueling the Dodge surge. One fan declared 'Dodge is Iconic!!!!! NUFF SAID!!!!!' while another argued NASCAR 'wasn't founded on racing foreign made cars,' calling any other choice a 'slap in the face' to the sport's southern grassroots. Even a self-professed Honda Accord driver admitted he'd rather see another American badge on the grid. The dream scenario? Building the latest Charger into stock-car form. With MOPAR loyalists this loud and this organized, NASCAR brass would be foolish not to listen — the fans have spoken, and they're flying the Dodge flag.

I thought NASCAR was an “American Grass-Roots “ sport, & w/. southern backing to boot! Not “Fast&Furious 2”. Which didn’t make it for obvious reasons. Michaeldassel714@gmail.com. ME

Definitely Dodge. NASCAR wasn’t founded on racing foreign made cars. Is this what this sport has come to? That’s a sellout, a slap in the face to all the ones that built NASCAR. Smh 🤦♀️ NASCAR will do anything to make money. Unbelievable and ridiculous.

I drive a Honda accord, but I would like to see another American made car in the series, like dodge. One foreign made car in the series is more than enough!

Sick of Toyota! They disgust me. Jordan will play the race card till only his Jap crap is allowed to win. Too bad SVG didn't punt a couple Jordan cars Sunday.

Ford needs to be a contender in the O'Reilly Series and make their presence in staying with complete NASCAR strong history, along with giving stronger backing to the teams who can give them they need to be successful!!!

No one cared when Dodge dropped out of the big 3, so why worry about Ford. These cars are so far away from factory cars and engine now, who cares?

They to have the power needed to compete. Dodge used to be one of the more powerful teams back when. Why not in the new age of racing
