A resounding 82% of golf fans believe players would give very different answers if interviewed later, exposing deep frustration with the post-round media crush. Only 12% disagreed. Readers argued the raw emotional moments right after a round are the worst possible time to shove a microphone in a competitor's face, with one voter suggesting reporters try responding coherently 'two minutes after playing four days of golf.' Another requested 'a minute or 20 to digest what just happened,' while another insisted the heat of the moment needs to cool before anything meaningful is said. The verdict from the gallery is clear: give the athletes breathing room, and the answers will be far better for it.

Give them at least 30 minutes after coming off the course. I would like to see most of the reporters respond in 2 minutes after playing 4 days of golf or whatever activity is being reviewed.

It is beyond my comprehension why a microphone is shoved in to any one's face during such raw emotional moments. Give them a minute or 20 to digest what just happened for pete's sake!

Really tired of Amanda's,"in your face" interviews that players seem obligated to provide
