The world’s biggest soccer club competition has reached the Semi-Final stage. The Champions League features some of the best players and teams in the world as they fight for the title of the best club in Europe. One of these players is Paris Saint-Germain star, Neymar Jr. The Brazilian icon has starred in the competition for years, playing with teams like PSG and FC Barcelona. In his most recent match against the English club, Manchester City, he dazzled with some cleats inspired by the popular Battle Royale game, Fortnite.

Neymar wears Fortnite inspired boots against Manchester City

In the semi-final against Manchester City, the Brazilian superstar wore some special boots for the massive match. Neymar wore custom Future Z boots from Puma, who is sponsoring him after he left sports apparel brand Nike last year. He has worn the Future Z cleats for the past few months, even releasing some custom versions like the Neymar Future Z 1.1 creativity. But instead of wearing the usual pair of boots, he spiced it up by involving his recent collaboration with Fortnite.

The soccer star recently worked with Epic Games to add a lot of items inspired by him, which includes items like a Soccer Ball emote toy, a Loading Screen, a Pickaxe, an Emote, and two outfits from his sponsor, Puma. Players can get these items by completing challenges in the game to unlock both his skins and primal forms.

The Custom Boots design

The custom Future Zs incorporated the design of Neymar’s Primal Form. The Exoskeleton design of the Primal Suit is clearly visible on the upper and heel panel of the boots. The left shoe incorporated the Brazilian Kit inspired Primal Form, while the right shoe included the Red and Blue design.

Fans of Neymar and Fortnite also got a chance to get these shoes by competing in the Neymar Jr Cup. They competed in 10 games in a three-hour window on April 28. The top player in the solo tournament for every region won these exclusive not for sale boots. The collaboration between the two of them is one of the highlights of the current season, and fans hope to see more partnerships with other popular athletes.
