At least 14 deaths have been confirmed in the Hurricane Milton aftermath. The storm has also destroyed the Buccaneers’ Raymond James Stadium. Casey DeSantis, wife of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis wrote on Twitter, “Tom Brady stepped up and helped fellow Floridians after Hurricane Ian, now he’s doing the same to help the victims of Hurricane Milton.” This acknowledgment not only highlights Brady’s commitment to give back to society to help those in need but also shows his closeness with the governor’s family. DeSantis’s mention of Hurricane Ian throws the reader’s attention back to September 2022 when he lent a helping hand to the struggling Floridians then. Coming forward yet again, Brady has shown he is a star both on and off the field.

Brady-DeSantis bonding in the news once more!

In 2022, Tom Brady’s connection to Florida’s governor made the news. According to a New York Times report, DeSantis and Brady were on texting terms. Tom Terrific also spoke about his relations with Donald Trump.

In an interview with Boston radio station WEEI, he said, “Donald is a good friend of mine. I have known him for a long time…. since I judged a beauty pageant for him, which was one of the very first things that I did that thought was really cool… he’s always been so supportive of me…he’s always invited me to play golf.” Interestingly, DeSantis was opposing Donald Trump in the Republican nomination in 2024.
