Russell Wilson’s Wife Ciara Gets Emotional While Witnessing Noble Gesture After Celebrating Big Achievement

Ciara Wilson is not just known as the wife of New York Giants QB Russell Wilson. She is a star and a trendsetter in her own right. Mother, singer, songwriter, dancer, actress, and, of course, philanthropist. The Wilsons are widely known for their efforts to give back to the world. More than a decade ago, the two began the nonprofit Why Not You Foundation and its efforts continue to this day. Their mission was simple: “Fighting poverty through education, empowering youth to lead with a why not you attitude.” Ciara’s leadership helps her engage with foundations that empower young women all over the world. So when Ciara shared a shoutout to another organisation with a similar cause, we couldn’t help but notice the pride she felt in their efforts. 

It’s not just Ciara, though. Russell Wilson is a powerful advocate for pediatric cancer. Aside from doing everything in his power to help sick kids, he also visits hospitals to spend time with them. They are also the board members of V Foundation. And through their combined efforts, they raised a massive $3 million for the foundation’s mission of cancer research. As Ciara put it, “We are all gonna be impacting lives together, we’re gonna be saving lives together, which is obviously a very beautiful and very powerful thing.” When you are on a noble mission to help make the world better, you find a lot of like-minded allies. As Wilson’s website proudly states, “We have the chance to change the world. Let’s do it together.” And she supports the Allan Children Foundation, whose vision to change the world together is clearly visible.

Ciara Wilson took to her IG to share a story highlighting the efforts being made by the Allen Children Foundation. This is a foundation that dedicates itself to “helping poor and needy children of Uganda, by giving food, clothing and an opportunity to learn.” And through their efforts, they are driving a big change. So, of course, Ciara Wilson, being on a similar journey herself, would take notice. Ciara shared a reel originally posted by the Allan Children Foundation’s IG page. In the reel, we can see a heartwarming clip of a woman spending time and caring for a sick kid. This clip speaks directly to Ciara as she writes in her caption, “My heart smiles so big watching This video. God you are good ❤”

Posts like these show us just how much pain and suffering exist in this world. And it is up to the youth of today to take up the mantle to try and make the change. Indeed, that’s the driving force behind Ciara and Russell’s Why Not You Foundation. So this wasn’t just a random appreciation story. It was Ciara’s hat tip to the amazing work Allan Children Foundation has set out to do. And it was a personal reminder of the work she was doing herself. While Ciara was giving this shoutout, there was another story that caught her eye. Another, rather different story of hard work and resilience. And here, too, she gave a proud hat-tip.
