After defeating the Ravens, Mahomes is set to make his fourth Super Bowl appearance in just seven seasons. This win has further solidified his status as a reliable quarterback. In a recent episode of “The Herd with Colin Cowherd Show,” Colin Cowherd invited Tom Brady to discuss the current quarterback situation in the NFL. Cowherd compared today’s generation of quarterbacks, such as Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes, and Josh Allen, with Brady’s era. He then focused on Patrick Mahomes and asked for Brady’s outlook on him. While talking about Mahomes, he added,” I think Patrick, I think he is a tremendous player. He’s a great leader. I think that’s one part everyone would look at all.” Brady further praised his aura and made his team follow in his footsteps by saying,” How do his teammates care about him? Do they respond to him that happens week in and week out with him? I think they are always the team to beat because he can play at the elite level and make his teammates along with him.”

Brady admitted that he and his team relied heavily on their head coach, Bill Belichick, and defensive coordinator for guidance. They followed their strategies to execute successful plays by attacking defense, making offensive moves, and implementing various tactics. Brady also mentioned times when Josh was absent, but the team managed to function effectively.

Well, Brady’s view on Patrick Mahomes is fair enough, considering the 2X MVP’s jaw-dropping records.
