Celebrity games are gracing the sports world once again, with popular names coming in from the NFL arena. After showing his impressive & professional skill in softball, the star rookie quarterback, CJ Stroud is set to enter the domain of the NBA. This time, he is joined by another star from the football world—Micah Parsons.
Parsons had an impressive season with the Cowboys, earning recognition as a second-team All-Pro and making his third consecutive Pro Bowl appearance. On the other hand, Stroud, in his rookie year, received the AP NFL Rookie of the Year award for his role in leading the Texans to the playoffs. Now, in the offseason, these two athletes are gracing the NBA world with some special plans for the game.

NBA All-Star weekend started in Indianapolis, including multiple events, such as the All-Star Celebrity Game on Friday. This game is graced by multiple notable celebrities, including NFL stars: defensive stud Micah Parsons and rookie sensation CJ Stroud. Ahead of the game against each other, the two had a pregame interview, wherein they shared their plans on what they were aiming for tonight. When asked if he wanted to set the bar for 40-point goals tonight, Stroud stepped away from making any promise.

He revealed that he is looking forward to “just gonna play hard,” and “just wanna win” the game. Whereas, Parsons has some different opinions, as he informed that he is looking to defeat Stroud. The Cowboys linebacker, snubbed off the aim of becoming an MVP in the game, instead, said that he aims to “locking him [Stroud] down,” while playing against him, making a statement for the upcoming 2024 season as well.
