After the Super Bowl LVIII loss in Las Vegas, the San Francisco 49ers claimed that they weren’t aware of the Super Bowl overtime rules, and hence it resulted in their three-point loss. Now, as the celebrities have joined the All-Star Celebrity Game on Friday, Richard Jefferson hilariously called out the participating players to be well aware of the rules. Then taking a dig at the 49ers team players, he added “If you don’t know the rules, it can be very detrimental. Just ask the 49ers.”

The former NBA player immediately grabbed the attention of his fellow announcers, who were shocked and laughing at the statement from the athlete. Jefferson said this when Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman also was present on the court. He was seen participating in the game wearing the number 12Mr Walk Off” jersey. Hardman earned this title after his 3-yard “walk off” touchdown to claim the Super Bowl of the 2023 season with a 25-22 win for the Kansas City Chiefs.
