LeBron James used to be a proud Dallas Cowboys fan, but for the past couple of months, he’s been a vocal Cleveland Browns supporter. He is an Ohio native, so that only makes sense. It turns out James has quite a relationship with the Browns DE Myles Garrett, and they might be gym buddies or much more.

It doesn’t matter what sport these athletes play; what keeps them in shape is what’s important. Maybe that’s why Myles Garrett and LeBron James became gym buddies this off-season. A video on Overtime’s account on X shows precisely what’s happening between the two. You would think that these athletes will switch sports as a banter.

The video circulating on X is titled, “LeBron and Myles Garrett getting that work in 💪 @KingJames@Flash_Garrett” and shows the duo doing squats while pulling weights with one hand. Future’s song Turn on the Lights is hyping the duo up. It looks like their instructor just took a back seat and trusted these athletes with their workouts.

Turns out, there are lots common between James and the Browns DE. That common factor is their love for Cleveland. Per sources, Myles Garrett is a minority owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers. It was something that he did for the love of the city and to be better rooted in the city. However, there is more to this than we initially thought of.

But it’s also to be noted that Lebron James has been a huge influence on Garrett along with individuals like Cristiano Ronaldo, Aaron Rodgers, Lionel Messi and Tom Brady, to name a few. He made these efforts in order to learn about the longevity in sports.

“I mean, he’s (LeBron James) a big influencer for as long as he’s done it. I got in contact with his people to help set up the team that I have now. So, he’s a major influence. (Christiano) Ronaldo, (Lionel) Messi, (Tom) Brady, (Aaron) Rogers, all those guys for such a long time at a high competitive level, also were influences to me to get a step ahead, be proactive about my health and wellness and take care of this thing,” said Garrett once.
