Sweet NFL moms have been the cornerstone of the NFL for as long as we know. From raising their athlete sons to watching their dreams come true in real-time is no short of a blessing. At this point, people don’t need a reminder of who Mama Kelce is or who Randi Mahomes is. But there’s another special NFL mom that people don’t get to hear about a lot. It’s Tua Tagovailoa’s mother.

But this time, she is not supporting her NFL son; rather, she has a special message for Tua Tagovailoa’s younger brother, Taulia. It’s his birthday today and his mom made sure that he got his fair share of wishes. That’s why she penned a sensitive, heartfelt message for her boy on his special day.

It was an account called Big Ten Football that first shared Taulia’s college highlights and captioned it, “HBD, Taulia Tagovailoa! 🥳”. His mother reposted the video on her X handle (formerly known as Twitter) with a sentimental message.

“Live out your dream son. Literally been defying odds from the womb.” Well, why not? Her son just turned 24 and is well on his way to getting drafted into the NFL someday. He currently plays with the Maryland Terrapins Football team as a quarterback and is following in his brother’s footsteps flawlessly. The improvement that he’s shown over the years is promising. However, it’s not clear whether the QB is applying for the NFL Combine to get drafted or not.

Though he’s not a top-10 prospect for the upcoming drafts, his numbers tell a different story, and it wouldn’t be hyperbole to think that the NFL has room for one more Tagovailoa.

Taulia Tagovailoa’s NCAA career

He was playing for the Alabama Crimson Tide back in 2019 but didn’t have a lot to show for it. It wasn’t until he started playing for the Maryland Terrapins when his QB career really took off. He has recorded constant improvement over the years and has the stats of an NFL QB.
