Talk about a tough Sunday for Aaron Rodgers! While everyone was waiting for A-Rod to play his first full game after a year, the comeback wasn’t as we expected. Not only did he struggle on the gridiron against Denver but also indicated a lower-body injury. Since then, everyone has been guessing about the Super Bowl Champion’s health. And now, the wait ends! ESPN’s Rich Cimini just dropped an update on Rodgers’ health – and fans are holding their breath. Is the star QB’s another season in jeopardy?

As per Cimini’s X post, A-Rod revealed on the Pat McAfee show that his knee is a little swollen. The four-time NFL MVP said, “I’m feeling a little banged up … knee is a little swollen.” Well, this is not the first time the quarterback raised concerns about his knee. The quarterback raised a red flag about his health on Sunday itself!

Rodgers told the media on Sunday, he is “banged up a little bit,”. However, he also added that he was okay. When the reporters asked A-Rod if it was a knee pain, he admitted, “Yeah, I mean, I’ve got some stuff with both legs.” While Aaron Rodgers confessed about the injury, Jets HC Robert Saleh had something else to say!

As per the Super Bowl champion coach, it’s just the usual bumps and bruises and Rodgers will not be included in the injury report. “I don’t think so from everything that I’ve gathered, it’s just a standard wear and tear of getting beat up a little bit yesterday,” said Saleh on Monday. While Rodgers’ knee is swollen, has the Achilles injury put a question mark on his health and performance?

Aaron Rodgers’ offense becomes a red flag for the Jets

We’re not trying to bring up any bad memories, but remember that Jets vs. Broncos game? While Rodgers’ sacks led to an embarrassing loss, he takes the whole blame on himself. A-Rod says, “When your defense holds them to 10, you’ve got to win the game 100% of the time. So that’s on the offense. That’s on me. Not good enough.

With just five minutes left in the game, on a crucial third-and-2 at Denver’s 43-yard line, Rodgers got sacked for a six-yard loss. Sad, right? While he stayed down for a few seconds, he seemed to flex his left foot when the QB walked off the field.

On the sidelines, trainers worked on stretching both his legs while the Jets’ defense took the field. He also appeared slow to get up after his last throw of the game—an incomplete pass to Mike Williams on third down. And everyone is just saying one thing — that’s not the Rodgers we have seen for years!

While his five sacks might be concerning, A-Rod’s growing age is a bit more concerning. Even former players like Tom Brady have jumped into the situation. The 7-time Super Bowl winner mentioned that A-Rod made too many mental mistakes which prevented him from scoring TDs. Brady said, “Sometimes you have to annoy guys and try to raise the level, convey a sense of urgency to them; raise your voice and create a different vibe for the whole offense.”

With the Jets and Aaron Rodgers standing on a crucial part of the season, let’s see what happens next! While we wait for Aaron-Rodgers’ comeback like a hero, we hope he stays well and fine.
