It looks like Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets’ hopes of making it to the playoffs have come to a halt. Despite the Jets’ $75 million royalty’s efforts to beat his Achilles injury, there wasn’t enough time left for the New York team to make a comeback. After raking one of the biggest losing streaks of the season, the disappointing 4-8 Jets are surely out of the playoffs conversation.

The question rises whether it would be feasible for the 40-year-old QB to return this season or not. What’s even the point of doing that? Although Rodgers must do what’s best for the team, at this point, forcing a return might not make that much of a difference, and even if it does, he is risking another injury.
