If we are thinking Jason Kelce‘s post-retirement life only includes his four kids, podcaster wife, Kylie Kelce, and the New Heights podcast? We are making a mistake. Why? The reason is simple. After Kylie gave birth to their fourth child, Finn, on March 30, 2025, Jason was busy managing his time. NFL analysis and giving quality time for family were huge issues for him. But as the 2025 NFL draft has ended, Jason is taking a breather now. He’s not only making waves with podcasts, but a new personal announcement.

Jason Kelce, on May 4, recalled his retirement days. In March 2024, he hung up his cleats and started his journey as an NFL analyst. But on May 4, he announced that he had started growing an interest in golf. And for that, the former Eagles center asked fans for advice on Reddit.

He posted, “Hey Reddit golfers, Jason Kelce here. Now that I’ve hung up the cleats, I’m trying to get serious about my golf game. I’ve uploaded 6 different angles of my swing from a session yesterday.” And requested talented Reddit fans to suggest some tips. “Looking for any tips you can give me, especially on my backswing and follow-through. Been working with a local pro in Philly, but figured I’d get some crowd-sourced wisdom too. Thanks in advance.” And you will be shocked to see how knowledgeable the responses were to Jason’s post.

But before learning about the response, let’s check out the hilarious experience Jason went through during his first golf putt. On April 30, Kelce was talking to his fans on the ‘New Heights’ podcast. He shared his first experience of playing golf. “My first putt, I think, was, like, a 10-foot putt that I put legitimately five feet [away] to the point that everyone audibly laughed behind me,” Jason Kelce said. But after the May 4 video and Reddit post, it looks like the laugh has triggered Jason to work hard and get smooth at golf. That’s why he invited people’s opinions on his latest video.

Fans advised Jason Kelce to play golf gracefully

“It’s not Aaron Donald. You don’t have to hit it so hard. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast.” This was the first hilarious but helpful comment on Jason Kelce’s Reddit post. On April 9, 2024, Aaron Donald admitted that he hated playing against Jason Kelce as the hits were too hard.

Well, getting back to Jason’s Pursuit of excellence in golf, one fan advised him, saying, “You’re rich. So, ignore anything that anyone here says and get lessons.” Jason’s career earnings go up to $86 million, and along with that, after retirement, he has signed multiple deals in collaboration with his brother Travis with Amazon, Old Spice, Tide, and Campbell’s Soup.

Can Jason Kelce's NFL grit translate to the golf course, or is he swinging for the fences?

After that, another fan gave the advice Jason was looking for. Fan said, “Move the mat onto the grass. Your elbow and wrists will thank you later. Also, work with the certified pro..not Reddit.” And also added, “But also, head movement and spin angle..decent rotation but you’ll need work to get your club into the right slots.” But this comment was followed by what we all could have expected. “Stop trying to hit home runs, my boy!” This was the comment as Jason took a stance like a pro golf player, but hit that ball like a pro baseball player.

And for the third time, another fan suggested that Kelce get a good instructor, even though he said he is playing with a local pro. “It’s ok, shake it off, Kelce. You and that golf swing have some bad blood, and unless you find an instructor, you and a golf swing will never ever ever get back together.” Well, Jason Kelce is fired up. Let’s wait for one month or so, and let’s see if Jason manages to get the level up.
