On Monday, it was revealed that Williams “is facing a two-game suspension for violating the NFL’s Performance-Enhancing Substances (PES) policy.” This news created a buzz among social media users and Detroit fans.

Nevertheless, Jameson Williams appears positive for his future, as while speaking to ESPN, via reporter Eric Woodyard, he “is disappointed with the current suspension but says he has ‘no choice but to take it on the chin. I’m in good spirits just ready to get back with my brothers ASAP soon as possible’.”

The wide receiver is slated to return to the field in Week 10 at Houston. Until then, the Lions, who are at a crucial stage of maintaining their wins by sitting at 5-1, will surely be impacted by Jameson Williams’ absence on the offense. And why shouldn’t they?

This 2022 first-round pick of the Lions, started slow in his career. First due to his 11 games-miss of his rookie season due to an ACL injury, and second because of suspension for 4 games for violating the NFL’s g–bling policy by the next year, where he needed his parents’ support. However, this year, he turned the tables around. He became the No. 2 option in the team’s passing attack behind key player, WR Amon-Ra St. Brown.

And once again, he is into trouble, exiting the two games of Week 8 and 9 in a row. Therefore, his absence from the team will be missed a lot!
