You could occasionally seem foolish in front of everyone when you trash talk. Ask CJ Gardner Johnson, as he may be feeling the same following the Eagles’ defeat to Tampa Bay. Micah Parsons, with whom Johnson recently had some beef, was prepared to take a shot after the safety made a fool of himself. However, the guy was stopped from doing so by another Eagles player. But who was it?

We are talking about Darius Slay, who was just featured on the show The Edge with Micah Parsons. The surprising part is that the cornerback was also chuckling at the circumstances there. Even though he laughed first he did succeed in defending his friend in front of everyone. He clarified that in order to increase mental pressure, at least one player needed to engage in trash talk.

The man stated, “Go bring the energy. Go bring all the trash-talking that that half the team’s not doing. So he fulfilled that need for us. You know what I’m saying? He’s a guy with a lot of energy. He go talk that trash. But you know hey, you go talk, you got to back it up, at some point in time. And if you don’t he know for sure, that media go catch it go catch it All attention and he gotta be ready to answer every time, because if he don’t , media going to blow his ass every time”

Additionally, Darius Slay told Micah Parsons that while Johnson was unable to support his disparaging remarks this time, perhaps he will do so in the future. If you’re unaware, the trash talk being discussed here is from a video of the Eagles’ locker room. Johnson said that he would turn the entire TB squad into his a–. The fans did not find this statement amusing at all, which is why the man is now treated like a joke in their eyes.

Aside from these issues, Micah Parsons was thrilled that Johnson had exposed himself as a fool. But, why?

Micah Parsons has had some good laughs since Gardner Johnson’s collapse

Yes, you heard it right. But, why? Let us take a look at the context of the story. If you didn’t know, Johnson has other trash-talk videos for other teams. In week 3 the man published a video where he used the word pretenders for the Saints against whom the Eagles played that week. The Eagles did stand tall in that game and the video was never discussed again, but fans were never happy about it.

Micah Parsons was at the moment rather irate with all of Johnson’s remarks for saints. The explanation is really obvious: the football safety is still a rookie and needs to give respect to other players.

“I don’t know who CJ Gardner think he is, bro,” Parsons said. “I mean, we’ve been dealing with this cat for a while. We just got to be a little bit real right here, like I think Derek Carr has validated himself way before CJ has ever done like to in a most respectful way.”

However, Johnson began responding to Parson with harsh remarks that revealed his attitude. He replied with a tweet which read, “Fam the league knows who I am (forget the narrative) @MicahhParsons11!! You can check my track record and how I over came a lot! Won a lot more playoff games than you too my guy.”

After these things what happened in week 4 the linebacker for the Cowboys is now amused that the Eagles have lost and the safety’s confidence has collapsed. Parsons believes he will learn from this that anything may happen in the game of the NFL.

Do you believe Johnson was in error in this case?
