Erin Andrews just loves Taylor Swift! When most of the people were busy questioning the NFL on giving Tay-Tay back-to-back attention, it was the FOX reporter who defended the singer. And now she is back to support the pop icon in Swift’s final days of Eras Tour, with a proposal.
Erin Andrews recently shared a story on her official Instagram account on Friday evening. In the video clip, we could see a wall-mounted television displaying one of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour performances. Now this prompted the sideline reporter to sing along to Swift’s 2017 hit “Don’t Blame Me.”
However, that’s not all for the day! This even compelled Erin to propose a question to her best friend, and Calm Down podcast, co-host Charissa Thompson. In the story, the 46-year-old tagged NFL reporter Thompson, who was covering the Kansas City Chiefs’s Black Friday game, with a caption, asking, “Vancouver??”

Although Thompson hasn’t replied to Andrews’s proposal yet, it’s likely that the two besties might be heading to Taylor Swift’s concert soon. The Grammy winner’s Eras Tour’s last stop is now scheduled to take place in Vancouver from December 6 to December 8, 2024. So, it will be worth waiting to check if these two NFL reporters unofficially cover her concert this time or not.
Until then, it’s no doubt that Erin Andrews is a big fan of Tay-Tay, and she loves her hard work. This is evident from what she once said: “I did interpretive dancing to my crew’s karaoke for [about] 90 minutes last night and woke up so sore. How the hell does [Taylor Swift] do 3 hours???” In addition to that, another major reason for her supporting Swift is when many blamed the singer for affecting the league in a negative way, the sports commentator expressed – “This whole media fascination with her being involved in our sport, and people having opinions about it hurting the league — are you kidding me? She’s incredible for our sport.”
In addition to that, Andrews made a point by saying, “I find [Swift] to be completely fascinating and empowering, and I feel like now more than ever. She’s opened the door to these young female viewers… A lot of guys come up to me and say, ‘This is so cool that [Swift] was able to get my daughter interested in watching a game. And now I can sit and teach her about it.”
The NFL female viewership has indeed increased. It has now reached 47% because of Swift. Therefore, Andrews is glad to have Swift in the NFL games, especially after her claim of matchmaking!

How did Erin Andrews play cupid in Swift-Kelce’s relationship?
Andy Reid had claimed that he played a cupid in Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s relationship. But you know what? Some months before Reid’s claims, in May to be precise, Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson revealed that they were the ones who played match-maker for the two lovebirds. How?
Well, it was during their appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The host asked the NFL reporters, “You guys predicted Kelce and Taylor?” To which, Thompson quickly replied, “Yes Jimmy, we are responsible.” Upon further questioning on how the two played it, Erin Andrews revealed that the two are friends with Travis Kelce. After all, they have been covering them for a long time.

Hence, when the Calm Down podcasters found out that Kelce was unable to give a tailored friendship band to her, the reporters “just started talking about it on the podcast saying, ‘Taylor, do this for America. Date him.’ I mean, the guy, he’s not ugly by any means.” And guess what? It worked. Kelce replied to their clip saying, “‘I owe you guys big time.” Later finally met the love of his life, Taylor Swift.
