Normani sees Ciara as her idol. In 2021, “Dancing With a Stranger,” shared a heartfelt moment on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. During Kordei’s appearance, she thanked Ciara, for being a major inspiration in her life. Kordei was visibly emotional as she expressed her admiration for the Grammy Award-winning artist Ciara. Talking to Ciara, who was the guest host on the show, Normani stated, “I’ve always felt like representation was so key.
