The Panthers have made significant moves in terms of their shaking up of the coaching staff. The Carolina team has terminated the contracts of quarterbacks coach Josh McCown and assistant head coach/running backs coach Duce Staley. This move followed the earlier dismissal of head coach Frank Reich. These moves are hinting at a major overhaul in response to the team’s disappointing performance.

Tom Pelissero reported this news on his X account. He captioned saying, “The #Panthers also fired QB coach Josh McCown and assistant head coach/RB coach Duce Staley, per sources.” The Panthers’ offense has notably faltered in the 2023 season, ranking 29th in rushing yards with an average of just 92.6 per game.
