On the night of 13 October, he underwent surgery to repair the fractured tibia and fibula. The team announced that the surgery had been successful. Coach Dan Campbell, too, called it a tough time for the DE and said, “Hate it for Hutch. That’s tough. He’s in good hands right now. He’s being taken care of.” Aidan Hutchinson is expected to return to the Lions before week 7 game. They are hoping for a full recovery soon. How soon is the question?

While the team has placed no timeline on his return, Adam Schefter talked to a source and revealed that it takes around 6-8 months for such an injury to heal. The main point is that a rod has been put in his leg. That considerably increases the time of recovery. While the Lions won big, a player’s loss because of an injury is a setback.

The season has been marred by injuries. Stay tuned! We have more stories for you.
