New York’s biggest fashion night just hit, and the 2025 Met Gala did not disappoint. This year’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” wasn’t just about looks—it was about legacy. A powerful nod to Black dandyism and the impact it’s had on fashion. And for the first time in over 20 years, menswear took the spotlight. So yeah, the pressure was on. But NFL stars like Russell Wilson and Jalen Hurts? They stepped in with serious style and turned heads the moment they hit the carpet.

Held at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art on 5 May, the 2025 edition also saw Formula 1 legend Lewis Hamilton serving as a co-chair for the event. The television program Good Morning America’s Instagram account shared some breathtaking snaps of celebrities from the entertainment, fashion, and sports worlds. In the pictures, fans could easily see celebs like singer Alicia Keys and her spouse, Swizz Beatz; point guard Dwyane Wade and his wife, Gabrielle Union; singer Dua Lipa with her longtime boyfriend, Callum Turner; singer-songwriter Nick Jonas with his wife, Priyanka Chopra; and others from the list. But the ones who caught wider attention were the NFL stars.

Russell Wilson graced the occasion with his singer wife, Ciara Wilson, and man! They just really know how to make things royal for them. The Super Bowl champ wore a black velvet suit, sharp and smooth, with gems catching light across his shoulders. That beret? Ah, it was bold. Right beside him, the Philadelphia Eagles’ QB’s wife stunned in a rich maroon gown, stitched to perfection with a fringe that danced around her. No doubt, Russell Wilson & Ciara and even Jalen Hurts & Bry—both couples melted the hearts of their fans with their fresh, classy, and dreamy looks.
