The Dallas Cowboys might have dropped one of the greatest social media updates for fans. The Facebook post said, DeMarvion Overshown will be the 1st player in Cowboys history to wear no.0’. The Cowboys’ star linebacker is currently facing hazy predictions about his 2025 season availability. Incredible right?

But hold on to that topic for a while, since we will see if DeMarvion will return in 2025 or not. But before that, just take a look at what he has to say about the newly added draft prospects to the Cowboys.

It was the 1st day of the NFL draft 2025, the Cowboys were in 12th position. And nobody was shocked when Roger Goodell announced, “With the 12th overall pick, the Dallas Cowboys select Tyler Booker, offensive guard, Alabama.” The Cowboys picked Tyler Booker, and he just showed the burst of energy to Green Bay like an outburst of a Caldera volcano.

So, seeing that energy and happiness, the Cowboys star linebacker DeMarvion Overshown couldn’t help to express his thoughts on Tyler Booker. “How he reacted to getting drafted to the Dallas Cowboys, like, that’s what we need. That’s the energy we need in the building to get to where we wanna go. We want somebody who loves the game of football. Take the will out of the opponent.” The Cowboys definitely need this as the franchise has never won the Super Bowl in the last 30 years.

Then, after praising his energy, DeMarvion also added that he had known the prospect for a few years. “And I kinda knew him before; he went to Alabama, and what he actually slid up on one of my videos, he saw some of my highlights, he was like, ‘Your highlight fire bro,’” Overshown said.

He also added, “Then just from there, it was just like Oh yeah, Imma see you soon. Being from Texas and knowing what it is to be a fan of the Cowboys. The Cowboys lose on Sundays like people will have a bad week of work, is religion down here. You’ve got to win. If you are with the Cowboys, you gotta have that energy to want to run through everybody that thinks the Cowboys sacks.” As an offensive guard, he has shown his worth with the Alabama Crimson Tide. Now is the time to show it for the Cowboys fans. Let’s do it.

But while the Cowboys have almost confirmed Tyler Booker’s position, DeMarvion is still struggling with his 2024 season injury. Will he return in the upcoming season?

Will DeMarvion Overshown return to form in the 2025 season?

A dedicated Cowboys fan page reported a very important update about Stephen Jones’s verdict on DeMarvion Overshown. The update clearly stated that the Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs and LB DeMarvion “could be ready” at the start of the season. If we rewind back a month, the Cowboys’ co-owner and EVP were talking exactly opposite.

While giving an update on April 1, Stephen Jones had said, “The Cowboys are likely not going to have Trevon Diggs or DeMarvion Overshown at the start of the season,” reporter Clarence Hill Jr. Overshown played his last game of the 2024 season on December 10. DeMarvion Overshown suffered a season-ending knee injury in Week 14 of the 2024 season, tearing his ACL, MCL, and PCL in the game against the Cincinnati Bengals

However, when he was fit, no one stopped DeMarvion from tackling players. He has also single-handedly sacked five QBs in the 2024 season. Along with one forced fumble. Well, but faced a season-ending injury. Now, when he was on Good Morning Football, DeMarvion Overshown clarified to fans that there is progress in the recovery of the injury, and he would probably be taking part in the 2025 season. Fingers crossed.
