The distance between Puka Nacua and his former partner, Hallie Aiono, seems to be softening. Just weeks after Aiono, who’s pregnant, filed a petition seeking full physical custody, she’s now proudly showing off her growing baby bump. And despite their differences, Nacua couldn’t help but share a heartfelt message for Aiono after seeing his soon-to-arrive little one for the first time.

It all unfolded after Hallie Aiono shared glimpses of welcoming a new addition to her family. After months of open updates about her pregnancy journey, Aiono praised herself for pushing through the challenges of not only carrying a child but also taking legal steps to secure his future.
“I prayed for this day, the day I finally got to meet you. There has never been a doubt of who you are and what you mean to us. And now you’re here, proof that even in the hardest seasons, miracles still find their way. Already, you’ve taught me more about love, strength, and grace than I ever knew possible. You’ve blessed my life beyond measure. My heart is forever changed. You are my why, my sweet boy,” she wrote.

Along with the adorable message, she also shared a picture of her caressing the baby, who wore a cute blue woven cap. The accessory turned out to be a highlight as it finally unveiled the baby’s name: “Kingston”.

Besides Hallie, Nacua’s fatherly love also appeared to know no bounds as he penned down adorable words for both the mother and the son. “Proud of you hal! Welcome king❤️🩹,” he wrote.
Aiono filed a paternity and custody petition in Los Angeles County back in June. She requested full physical custody, shared legal custody, and coverage of pregnancy-related expenses. Described as a paternity suit rather than a damages lawsuit, the case remains pending, with no confirmed public response from Nacua as of late 2025. However, besides the personal challenge, he is currently focused on a professional hurdle that awaits his entry.
Positive update emerges on Puka Nacua’s absence amid injury
Puka Nacua’s 2025 season took a serious hit when he sprained his left ankle during the Los Angeles Rams’ Week 6 game against the Baltimore Ravens on October 12. He exited in the second quarter. Later, he tried making a comeback in a limited role, but the injury forced him to miss the next game (Week 7 against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London). However, he took advantage of the team’s Week 8 bye to recover.

According to the latest updates, the Rams’ fans are quite likely to see him back on the field soon. Head coach Sean McVay said Nacua is expected to play in Week 9 against the New Orleans Saints “unless there’s setbacks.” Nacua also stated he feels “fantastic” and has already started attending full practice.
Nacua recorded 54 receptions for 616 yards and 2 touchdowns, averaging about 11.4 yards per catch through six games in the ongoing season. His production still ranks among the NFL’s best for receivers despite the missed time. However, it still remains to be seen if he participates in their upcoming Sunday Night Game against the New Orleans Saints.
