He added, “I don’t buy that he’s retiring.”

Reid’s exceptional achievements supported his statements. Then he detailed Reid’s quick acquisition by one of the league’s sharpest ownerships. He said, “Andy Reid, by the way, was on the job market for five days and one of the smartest ownership groups snapped him up. If not, the Chiefs, there was a line to get Andy Reid.” Cowherd also praised Reid’s adaptability and influence. He noted that his triumphs are not just with a single player, but with multiple quarterbacks.
