The 49ers camp is dealing with all kinds of issues one can imagine. While the wins are getting hard to get, some players, including Trent Williams, are trying to sort out their personal lives. He and his wife, Sondra, had a tragedy during the birth of their 4th child.

The OT was with his wife and family last week when she gave birth to their stillborn son, Trenton O’Brien Williams Jr., on November 24. The family cremated him on Friday, the 29th of November. The fact that he hasn’t posted anything on social media yet raises questions about their status. The OT doesn’t follow his wife on Instagram and has no photos of her on it as well. However, he does follow his ex-girlfriend, Paloma.

While fans suspect that they are separated, the 49ers HC Kyle Shanahan confirmed that the OT took a break to be with his family. The head coach spoke on behalf of the franchise and said, “He was there at the hospital with her and got to meet him and say bye. Then he had to cremate him on Friday. So he’s been dealing with that and he’s working through it.” That speaks volumes about his character. He is the rock of the family.

While the couple already have 3 daughters, the loss of a child isn’t easy to handle. But staying true to the nickname Silverback, he is helping his wife heal from this tragedy. Recent times have been tough for them. Sondra was earlier pregnant with twins but lost one of them. There were concerns about the remaining child, too. Doctors had diagnosed him with Trisomy 13, a rare genetic disorder that occurs in 1 in 16,000 babies. The family hoped he would overcome that, but unfortunately, that didn’t happen.

Trent Williams’ wife posts emotional message after birth of a stillborn

The 49ers OT is dealing it his way, not posting anything on social media. But his wife Sondra, a yoga teacher, is slowly opening up. On December 1, she posted a video of the sonogram and wrote, “👼🏽My Forever Angel, Trenton O’Brien Williams Jr. 💙 💔It’s been extremely hard trying to process the saddest Hello and Goodbye that I’ve ever had to endure.” It’s tough. Dealing with such pain isn’t easy.

However, the Faithful are backing her to stay strong during these hard times. One fan commented, “What a beautiful tribute. Praying for all of your healing ❤️” While Trent Williams missed the last two games because of an ankle injury, the Niners are hoping he will join them soon. HC Kyle Shanahan also expressed the belief that the OT will find an avenue in the sport once he’s back with his teammates.

The Silverback would be hoping to arrange everything in order while keeping them happy mentally and emotionally. Over time, things are expected to calm down.
