Pregnancy is a journey of joy, but the struggles are real and unfiltered! And this unfiltered experience was recently shared by Russell Wilson’s wife, Ciara Wilson. After shutting down the rumors of welcoming another child soon with the Steelers quarterback, Ciara Wilson, who joined The Kelly Clarkson Show on October 8, 2024, talked about the struggles she experienced while pregnant. The singer is a strong and proud mother of four, however, her pregnancies with her daughters turned out to be troublesome for her.

During the discussion, when Clarkson asked, “You’ve had pretty good pregnancies, except this last one was a little hard, right?” Ciara revealed, “Well, so all my pregnancies were really easy, but giving birth, my boys have always been easy so far, but my girls have beat me up.” Explaining the difficulties further, the Grammy winner expressed, “It’s like something about us girls. I think in life, when you have those babies, boys are so easy, girls are complex. It was literally that at birth. So with Sienna, she beat me up so bad, I was like so out of it by the time it was time to push her out, and that was my first girl. And then my second girl, Amora, at one point in time, her heart rate was going up and down for like eight minutes long.” That’s terrifying, isn’t it? The host exclaimed this as well, as the Goodies singer continued explaining what happened at that moment.

So, during that phase, Ciara Wilson recalled staying calm even though the doctors were prepared for a possible emergency C-section. Additionally, the mother of four shared that during each delivery, she experienced intense reactions like vomiting, shaking from the whirlwind of physical stress, and even teeth clacking. Ciara noted that there’s something about baby girls, as they come into the world “bringing fire. We just bring heat. You know, we’re ready for the world.”
