Tyreek Hill and his social media promises are infamous! Like the time in July, ahead of the start of the 2023 season. He promised Dolphins fans that not only would he register at least 2,000 receiving yards. But also that his team would bring home the Vince Lombardi Trophy. However, we know that he failed on both counts. He managed to record 1,799 receiving yards and his team crashed out of the postseason during the Wild Card round.

Now, he’s back with another promise. And this time, his followers aren’t buying it. After all, how many times could you let yourself be disappointed?

FinsXtra shared an Instagram post where the “Cheetah” was seen speaking in a podcast. He haughtily proclaimed, “Make sure you guys are prepared for what we’re about to give you guys. We went through everything what we went through for a reason, to get y’all ready for what’s about to happen this [upcoming] year… it’s coming.”

Is the Super Bowl finally coming to Miami after half a century? At least that’s what Tyreek seems to be promising his loyal Dolphins fans. But they’ve seen this before already. Every year he’s been with the team, he has promised to win the Super Bowl. The last time he won a Lombardi Trophy was with the Chiefs.

Fans replied to the video with troll comments, not wanting to set themselves up for another disappointing season.

Fans not ready to believe Tyreek

The last time the team had made a Super Bowl appearance was in 1985. And the last time they had won one was in 1974. One user mocked him saying that they had been waiting for 45 years to see the Trophy in Miami. @lookingglass401 commented, “Been ready 45 years brother.”

@Wakeup60324665 said that they had heard this promise before as well, “Heard it all before”. Tyreek wasn’t making any new promise nor did he give reasons to help fans believe that this time, things would be different.

@CaIvin21 brought up another promise by the Cheetah where he had said that he would record 250 receiving yards against his former team. The best the Dolphins could manage to do is go 10-11 and then crash out of the Wild Card round again. “He’s said that last year lol 😂 he also said he was going for 250 Yards against the Chiefs. This team will win 10-11 Games next year & get bounced in the WC that’s if we make it lol.” But he did say that the offense was fun to watch.

Seeing through all this hot air, @OrangeManBad059 said, “A lot of talk for not much follow through but I’m here for it and hope they come back with a vengeance.” He expressed his hope that this time the Dolphins may use anger as their driving force and win games this season.
