Two weeks ago Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift made headlines for their “Lion King” moment during their Coachella appearance. The busy celebrity couple, who are hardly away from the limelight, also attended a Las Vegas gala for their friend Patrick Mahomes over the weekend but a night before that they were spotted in quite a different setting.

Kelce and Swift were on a double date with Patrick Mahomes and his other half Brittany in Las Vegas at the ARIA Resort & Casino’s Easy’s Cocktail Lounge. Although the details of their meetup are obscure, the venue is known for its extensive cocktail menu, including the one called, “The Heart of The Ocean” described as being “served in seas shell on white sand, with seashells & micro flowers, sitting on a dock” according to the bar’s website.

Notably, the celebrity hotspot is secluded and tucked away inside the Proper Eats Food Hall in the hotel, making the presence of the four celebs a rather private affair. Swift, who will be resuming the international leg of her Eras tour, accompanied Kelce to Patrick Mahomes’ The 15 and Mahomies Foundation Golf Classic gala in Las Vegas.

Swift was dressed in a green gown, while Chiefs’ TE Kelce was wearing a suit with a white dress shirt unbuttoned at the neck. The fourth annual Charity Gala commenced on April 27th and will go on till the 29th. This event is designed to generate funds for Patrick Mahomes’ foundation, which caters to providing support to child welfare and education within the community. As if appearing together wasn’t enough the couple became the talk of the night when they decided to auction off Swift’s Eras Tour tickets as Kelce referred to the pop star as his “significant other.”

Kelce took the stand to announce “I was just talking to my significant other and uh. We might have one other auction item that wasn’t on the docket—has anyone heard of the Eras Tour?” The bid for the tickets opened up at $5000 and eventually four tickets were sold off at $80,000. Auctioneer Harry Santa, who joined Kelce on stage shared a clip from the event on his Instagram stories and revealed that it was Kelce who “convinced” Swift to auction the tickets.

The gala marked another night of bonding between the Mahomes and the Kelce-Swift couple. Brittany and Swift have developed a friendship over the last year as the singer has attended a lot of Kelce’s games. The four of them partied on New Year’s Eve with some of their friends. The group also celebrated together after the Chiefs won the Super Bowl back in February. Brittany Mahomes gave a shout out to Taylor when she released her new album “The Tortured Poets Department” last week.

As for Kelce and Taylor Swift, they have been spending a lot of time together before the singer kicks off the international leg of her Eras Tour.

Taylor Swift garnered a lot of love from Swifties during the first leg of her Eras tour, as she confirmed her relationship with Kelce during one of her concerts. Now the Grammy winner is all set to dazzle fans with her tour once again. The second leg of her tour will commence on 9th May at the Paris La Defense Arena. But before all that, the couple is partying hard as seen during their visit to Coachella, two weeks ago.

During the festival, they danced to performances from Jack Antonoff and Ice Spice’s set. But it was during Dom Dolla’s set that a fan-captured clip highlighted an adorable moment between Swift and Kelce.

At one point, Kelce scooped Swift up and lifted her above the crowd in an uncanny resemblance to an iconic moment from Disney’s “Lion King” movie.

The singer will travel through Europe in the coming months with her last Europe concert on 20th August. However, she’ll not be done there, as she will soon start the US tour in October and will finally conclude the tour in December in Canada. It seems this year fans might not see Swift cheering for her beau during the early part of the NFL season, but they are making most of their time for now.
