Joe Burrow’s Cincinnati Bengals just missed the playoffs and started playing around ifs and buts games. The franchise may have entered the postseason ‘if’ they had played the same as in the last five games. But it has no meaning right now as the offseason has started for the Bengals and the organization is busy making important changes in the staff, team, and many deals under the radar. However, one of the biggest dilemmas they face now involves three players.

Since Tee Higgins expressed his future with the stripes, his re-signing talks are going on. Before knowing what Higgins has said, it’s important to understand that Burrow wants Tee in the building for 2025. Well, but after the week 18 game, when reporters approached Higgins, you know what he said about the future with the Bengals? He had said, “It could be my last game playing here in this stadium with stripes on. I wanted to go out with a bang… Hopefully, it’s not. But you never know what the future holds. You can’t go out in a better way.”

Burrow disagrees with the talks and has hinted that he will ‘make it happen’ that Ja’Marr Chase, Higgins and he play together for the next year. But as per reports, though Burrow has predicted to re-sign Higgins, the organization could not manage to sign both wide receivers. So, the franchise is predicted to fail Burrow regarding the re-signing of Higgins.

According to Ian Rapoport, a renowned NFL reporter, “Sources say the three have discussed playing together again for years to come. It’s their goal, and privately, they have made no secret about it.” So, wide receivers and a quarterback are trying hard to keep things as they are for the next seven months and prepare for the upcoming season. But it seems like they may lose Higgins.

However, the franchise is expected to re-sign the most exciting deal of the season. Do you know who is that player?

The Bengals may reward the three-star player with a big deal

The Bengals are discussing re-signing players. One of the obvious names that will make it through the process is Ja’Marr Chase. The way he has brought the building down this season and performed is insane. The most interesting fact about Chase this season is that the Bengals #1 has topped all the stats among the WRs. He is No. 1 in receptions (127), No. 1 in receiving yards (1708), and also No. 1 in touchdowns!

So, it is now anticipated that he will be re-signed to the team again, but with a bank-breaking deal. The amount he may sign may be up to 180 million dollars. That’s dope! While talking about his future with the Bengals, Ja’Marr Chase has confirmed that he will be in Cincinnati for sure, but he also expressed a wish to have Higgins for the upcoming season!

The #1 said, “I wish I could sign Tee myself & have them ‘Joe Burrow and Tee Higgins’ with me for eternity. It’s 100% possible…It’s just playing chess at this point.” Well, it’s up in the air. Chase wants Higgins. Joe Burrow also wants Higgins. But practically, it all seems like not fitting in the financial cap. But who knows? As Burrow has hinted, he can make it happen.

But for now, all we can conclude is that the franchise is looking into the issue. And if Joe Burrow comes into the picture of re-signing both players, the next season for the Bengals would be different.
