Bill Belichick might finally have found his home for the next season. It hasn’t been long since he was removed as the Patriots’ coach by Robert Kraft and the teams started going after him immediately. Among all interested sides, it seems like the Atlanta Falcons are eyeing Belichick hard and are looking to get hold of the experienced coach for their staffing position as early as possible.

Atlanta Falcons are banking on Bill Belichick!

Per the franchise’s tweet on X, they have just taken the next step toward taking in Bill Belichick. The tweet was captioned, “We have interviewed Bill Belichick for our head coach opening.” The immediate action from the Atlanta team reflects their already started investment toward having a good 2024 season, especially with the experience of Belichick on hand.

An update from the Falcons mentioned that they also have interviewed Mike McDonald, DC of the Baltimore Ravens, Brian Callahan, OC of the Cincinnati Bengals, and Steve Wilks, DC of the San Francisco 49ers. Before speaking to Belichick, they also chatted with Panthers’ DC Ejiro Evero and Ravens’ Anthony Weaver.

It made sense for the Falcons to interview Bill Belichick because they need a coach with accolades like Belichick considering the 7-10 season the team had. He was seen boarding Arthur Bank’s yacht yesterday.  Earlier, it was a rumor, but the interview with Belichick today confirmed their yacht flings. A report from Sports Illustrated highlights just how much importance this deal holds to the Falcons.

Another choice for Belichick to consider would be the Philadelphia Eagles because Nick Sirianni might get sacked if the Eagles get decimated by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The advantage of joining the Eagles is that the team has a Super Bowl experience, which might make things pleasant for the 72-year-old.
