After a rough outing against the Atlanta Falcons, where Josh Allen went 15 of 26 for 180 yards, the reigning MVP clearly came this time on a mission against the Carolina Panthers today. The Bills are absolutely dominated, leading by 40-3 after the third quarter, and Allen looks every bit like the superstar we know him to be. Not only did he torch the defense, but he’s also racked up milestone after milestone in the process.

Josh Allen is making history out there. Today marks the 11th time that a QB-RB duo has punched in a rushing touchdown in the same game. James Cook, alongside Josh Allen, is now tied with Terry Bradshaw and Franco Harris for the second spot on the podium. Only Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott have more than them with 15.

Allen wasn’t just done there. He hit Khalil Shakir with a 54-yard bomb, marking his 46th career game with both passing and rushing touchdowns. Oh, and get this…it’s the first time since week 5 of 2022 against the Pittsburgh Steelers that the Bills have had two 50+ yard touchdowns in one game. Absolute dominance.

Josh Allen aims to shatter another Newton’s milestone after already leaving him behind

After that 54-yard grenade to Shakir that shattered multiple records, Allen wasn’t done etching his name in the record books. He followed it up with a 1-yard rushing touchdown in the third quarter. That score moved Allen up in the all-time rushing touchdown list, putting him in the 35th spot in NFL history and 2nd among active players. He’s now sitting at 70 career rushing touchdowns as a quarterback, just five behind Newton (75) for the most by a QB.
