Week 3 was devastating for the Jacksonville Jaguars! The Jags, which came prepared this season with a sense of winning the games, as they did in their three 2024 preseason matchups, failed miserably on MNF.

The Buffalo Bills hosted the Jaguars at Highmark Stadium, Orchard Park, on September 23. And they gave owner Shad Khan’s team a doomed welcome by winning Monday Night Football with a massive 47-10 score. With this win, Bills QB Josh Allen made Khan eat his words which he made last month.

Last month, owner Shad Khan was excited about the upcoming season and showed his full faith and confidence in his team. Not only that, in order to keep the team motivated, he locked quarterback Trevor Lawrence by paying him $275 million for five years. And amidst all this, the owner made sure to express his pride in his team publicly as well.

He said, “Winning now is the expectation. . . . Make no mistake, this is the best team assembled by the Jacksonville Jaguars, ever. Best players, best coaches. But most importantly, let’s prove it by winning now.”

The recent 47-10 blowout loss to Josh Allen and his team has left Jacksonville at 0-3 in 2024, and from here, things look bleak. As Jaguars owner Shad Khan made it clear this season is different, and winning is their expectation, the question is where’s the proof?
