Fresh off his 2024 MVP campaign, Josh Allen looks like a man who has figured out how to carry an entire franchise and still smile while doing it. Through three games, Buffalo sits at 3–0, and Allen’s numbers are absurd. 69 completions on 99 attempts (69.7%), 755 passing yards, 7.6 yards per attempt, five touchdowns, zero interceptions, and a 108.8 passer rating. And he’s still running like a linebacker, 24 rushes for 114 yards and two scores. But he’s not doing it alone. James Cook has been the perfect backfield complement, punishing defenses that dare to play two-high shells.

That’s why he praised his running back during the post-game conference. The QB said, “To me, it’s the same James Cook. The guy just attacks every time he touches the ball. He looks like he’s been shot out of a cannon every time he touches it. He’s so fun to play with. There’s times where I toss it to him or hand it off to him, and I’m just already putting my hands up because I feel like he’s about to crib it. There’s two that were real close tonight. Real close and he’ll tell you that too. He’s been such a catalyst for our offense.”

Seeing his explosive teammate dominate the rivals, QB Josh Allen couldn’t stop himself from praising him. He summed up the praise with two words, “Special player.” That’s a powerful statement coming from the 2024 NFL MVP. Moreover, the Bills also trust him. That’s the only reason they signed him for a 4-year, $48 million contract extension until 2029.

While the Bills’ roster deserves applause for its performance, the signal caller has led from the front.

Josh Allen celebrates a milestone with the 3rd win of 2025

Josh Allen turned Thursday night into a family celebration and an NFL history lesson. The Bills’ QB didn’t just deliver Buffalo its third straight win of 2025; he gave his parents the ultimate anniversary gift. A 31–21 victory over the Dolphins and also the 300th touchdown of his career. No one in NFL history has ever reached 300 combined passing, rushing, and receiving touchdowns faster.

Not Patrick Mahomes, not Aaron Rodgers, not even Tom Brady. Allen did it in vintage fashion, tossing three scores, one each to Dalton Kincaid, Jackson Hawes, and Khalil Shakir, while going 22 of 28 for 213 yards and a 134.1 passer rating.

His parents were in the stands, beaming. “I think they just enjoy being here, getting to watch me,” Allen told NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe after the game. “They don’t miss many games. I’ve got some really great role models in my life.” That’s the thing. Allen’s not just winning games, he’s stacking milestones. He’s now 8-0 on Thursday nights.

Buffalo, meanwhile, has ripped off 13 consecutive home victories, the longest active streak in the NFL. And let’s not forget, he’s got help. The Bills aren’t just chasing the AFC East anymore; they look like a team built for February.
