Looks like the Giants have found the ideal WR for their new QB. There were many questions regarding which player HC Brian Daboll would go with after signing QB Jameis Winston. The veteran QB has a ton of potential, but his track record shows that he makes both good and bad throws. While everyone assumed the team might go with Travis Hunter to counter the quarterback’s bad throws. The team did the unthinkable and brought in a 30-year-old experienced WR.
The Giants are not repeating the mistakes from their last season. The mistakes that thrashed them to a 4-13 record, sitting 4th in NFC East. They want to make a strong comeback. Rumors have it that Brian Daboll is determined to make a Super Bowl run this year. To accomplish that mission, New York signed Jameis Winston first, and now Zach Pascal. The team announced it on their X as well, quoting, “We have signed WR Zach Pascal.” Job well done!

Pascal’s skills could seriously boost the NYG offense. Well, everyone knows Brian Daboll loves an aggressive offensive strategy, and if he signed off on bringing Zach in, he clearly saw something special. Over the years, the 30-year-old wide receiver has proven himself time and time again. At 6-foot-2 and 215 pounds, he’s racked up 169 receptions, 2,057 yards, and 16 touchdowns across 112 games. And now, with Winston as his QB, this new duo is definitely one to keep an eye on.
Of course, there are plenty of question marks, too. Winston and Pascal have never played together, so no one really knows how this partnership will pan out. But let’s be real—these guys have the talent. If they can sync up, they’ll be a nightmare for opposing defenses. Something similar happened to Tom Brady and Antonio Brown when they joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
At this point, one can only hope that Brian Daboll repeats something similar to this combo. But there are still some uncertainties regarding whether this combo will hit the field together or not. Meanwhile, a major addition is in the pipeline for the Giants.

The Giants and Daboll keep building the roster
It was a huge surprise when the New York Giants offered Jameis Winston a two-year contract. It was a hefty $8 million contract, on top of which it included incentives that could bring the total value to $16 million. The startling aspect of this contract was not that it happened. But the shocking aspect is that the team, even after getting it, wants to bring on another QB. This rumored player is none other than former Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson.
What’s your perspective on:
Can Jameis Winston and Zach Pascal lead the Giants to a Super Bowl victory this season?

Rumors suggest that HC Brian Daboll is keen to get Russell Wilson or Joe Flacco aboard. However, neither QB is yet ready to be in New York and is evaluating all available choices. Diana Russini claimed on the Dan Patrick Show that the Giants are “hoping Russell Wilson or Joe Flacco decide to come to New York.” Not only that, but the reporter indicated that the team has a good probability of going into the draft to find a QB.

There are substantial suspicions that the Giants may select Travis Hunter as their first pick in the NFL Draft 2025. Russini believes that there are discussions inside the squad about going after a quarterback instead, who might be either Cam Ward or Shedeur Sanders. According to the reporter, Brian Daboll and his staff can make their decision after the Titans pick their choice for the number 1 draft pick.
There are also possibilities that the first two teams can choose these two elite quarterbacks. And the Giants, who have the third pick, can go with Travis Hunter. After all, the squad would love to have a player who can improve both defense and offense. But what are your thoughts about it? Should Brian Daboll go for a QB or not?
