Heading into the matchup, injury news is shaping both sidelines. For Broncos, linebacker Dre Greenlaw has been activated from injured reserve and may return for the first time this season. He’s been recovering from a quad injury sustained during the team’s offseason program.
Meanwhile, the team has made notable roster adjustments, including elevating a player from injured reserve to the 53-man roster. But that move came at a cost.

The third-string quarterback, Sam Ehlinger, was released from the active roster on Friday (October 17). With roster flexibility in mind, the team aimed to retain him without occupying a spot on the 53-man unit.
In an effort to re-sign Ehlinger to the practice squad the following day, the team had to part ways with defensive back A.J. Woods. So, the team has clearly planned his return. While he is still questionable for the game, there’s a chance that Greenlaw might show up in Week 7.

It was just this year that he signed a three-year deal valued at $31.5 million with the franchise. The 28-year-old was phenomenal during his stint in the San Francisco 49ers, where he had 455 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and three interceptions across his last 64 games.
One player who is ruled out for the game is linebacker Jonah Elliss, as he deals with his shoulder injury. After he missed the Week 6 game and practice session, this will be his second consecutive loss.
Things are different on the other side.

Jaxson Dart loses support before the clash against the Denver Broncos
Both linebackers, Swayze Bozeman and Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles, missed practice all week. Bozeman sustained an ankle injury in the Week 5 game against the New Orleans Saints. He was ruled out in Week 6.
Flannigan-Fowles will miss his third straight game after injuring his hamstring in practice. In his absence, linebacker Neville Hewitt is expected to step up. Another player out for the game is center John Michael Schmitz. He suffered a concussion in Week 6 and missed practice. He is unlikely to suit up before clearing the protocol.
Offensive lineman Austin Schlottmann might step in for help. Wide receiver Darius Slayton will also sit out with his hamstring issue that he sustained in Week 5.
That’s a tough series of absences for the Giants and Dart. Defensive linebacker Chauncey Golston is also ruled out for a neck injury. It remains to be seen if the Giants can manage to battle against the Broncos’ tough defense, powered by new additions.
With a depleted lineup, the Giants face a rising Broncos defense and a high-altitude test in Denver.
