What is Jeremy Crawshaw’s ethnicity?

Jeremy Crawshaw is of Australian ethnicity. He proudly represents his home country on the global sporting stage, having been born and raised in Australia, right in western Sydney, the haven and one of the most historically renowned parts of the city for sport and rugby. He grew up being thrown into the hard and fast world of rugby league, eventually exploring other football codes such as Australian rules football.

The athletic journey of Crawshaw as a teenager took its defining turn when he came upon Prokick Australia, a pathway program that introduces Australian athletes to American football.

“It started when I was about 14 or 15,” Crawshaw recalled at rookie minicamp. “I found out about Prokick Australia, which is the program that gets scholarships for guys who come over here and punt…Once we got to college and got onto the big stage, the sights were set for the NFL.”

The rugby and Aussie rules background of Crawshaw provided the natural springboard to punting, and his ability to adapt to the demands of directional kicking in American football made him the ideal prospect. Interestingly, Crawshaw’s move to Denver had almost been ordained.

“When I came to America, my coaches asked where I wanted to play, and I said Denver looked beautiful. I’d love to go there,” he said. “It’s a full-circle moment now being with the Broncos-it’s awesome.”

Is Jeremy Crawshaw Christian?

There is no confirmed public information regarding Jeremy Crawshaw’s religion or personal beliefs. Indeed, much like most professional athletes, it would appear that Crawshaw takes a very private approach when it comes to spiritual or religious affiliations.

Growing up in Australia may insinuate that he grew up as a Christian, due to the strong cultural background of the country being steeped in Christianity, but it is not directly confirmed that Crawshaw identifies with any religion.

The media covers his career mainly in relation to his athletic development and the transition that he made from rugby into American football, to which he adapted very fast, much like American life. Without any public comment on this, little more appropriately can be done than grant Crawshaw his privacy over the matter.
