“With the proposed pricing at the new Cleveland Browns stadium, my 6 tickets (section 310) will go from $24,600 current to $131,100 in year one with PSL- an increase of $106,500!! Plus parking goes from $300 to $1800/ szn,” McNeil of the Bigplaycleshow wrote on X.

Proposed ticket options for the team’s planned new stadium in Brook Park include a one-time personal-seat-license (PSL). The fees range from $500 to $149,300 for premium seats, according to a recent survey of season ticket holders. Tens of thousands of dollars could be spent on season tickets each year when coupled with the licenses. Whether the loyal fans will spend that much is something everyone has to wait and watch.

The Browns are looking to improve fan amenities and revenue streams by investing $2.4 billion toward a stadium and urban complex. To keep ticket access “affordable,” they argue, the higher base cost is balanced by upgraded features.

In practice, if you ask the price, you may not be able to afford it. The survey shows large price jumps even for existing seats, while the average ticket in the new dome is projected to exceed $200, before food and drink.

The new venue promises premium seats with perks to enrich the experience and make it worth it.

A new 434% era dawns at Brook Park

The Cleveland Browns will open a new chapter with their Brook Park stadium. The enclosed venue will cost about $2.4 billion. It will seat 67,500 for games and expand to 75,000 for concerts and major events.

“The average ticket will be over $200, plus food and beverage. So we want fans when they come to a game to have a great time and say, ‘You know, that was a lot but it was worth it, and I want to do it again,” Jimmy Haslam said.

Haslam Sports Group chose AECOM Hunt-Turner JV to lead the project. AECOM brings vast stadium construction experience. The firm built the $5.5 billion SoFi Stadium for the Rams and Chargers in 2022. Additionally, the JV is now working together on the Tennessee Titans’ $2.1 billion New Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

One of the venue’s features is a clear roof that lets in natural light while shielding spectators from the weather. “Dawg Pound” area redesigned. Complete integration into a wider 176-acre entertainment zone and the NFL’s closest seats to the field. Shops, hotels, apartments, and offices are all included in the design.

Fans may anticipate expanded viewing experiences, premium club lounges, and improved concessions. Also providing improved entry and transit connected to the surrounding airport infrastructure, and improved amenities. Because of the mixed-use development, game day will become a year-round event.

The current stadium cannot provide these future-focused features or hold major events year-round. Has led to an enormous increase in ticket prices of more than 434%. The team says the change keeps them competitive on and off the field.

The new location promises to provide Browns supporters with an unparalleled experience. However, to cheer for Cleveland in the future, marks the start of the era of higher costs.
