While the DE was on the show, he talked about how to counter some quarterbacks. The man showed countering positions with legends such as Terry Bradshaw and Michael Strahan. The man started with tactics to oppose Jayden Daniels and later talked about Anthony Richardson. Interestingly, He did an excellent job coaching the counter to both of these explosive quarterbacks.

After this, when the DE was asked whether he sees a future in coaching. He gave a very interesting response. Cam Jordan said yes and claimed that there was a chance that he would do it. He even revealed that he is now coaching the young players on his team.

While Jordan hopes to play for a few more seasons, it appears like his team is moving in a different direction. As Dennis Allen has revealed the player will most likely be benched between games. But why is the HC going in this direction?

HC Dennis Allen believes Cam Jordan will be unable to play at some point

This is truly shocking. If you have a DE like Cam Jordan, why would you like to bench the guy? Well, Dennis Allen seems to have a different opinion on it as he explained, “You’re probably going to see a little bit more of Chase and Carl…Cam is still a vital part of what we do. … it’s no disrespect towards Cam, but it’s kind of how this game goes at some point in time”

In 2024, Cam Jordan had only 16 tackles in 11 games he played. This is far below what you would expect from a veteran player like him. It seems like he does not have a rhythm and at the same time, Carl Granderson has stepped up for the team. Granderson has 38 tackles in 11 games, which is why Dennis Allen is preferring him.
