Cameron Sutton is one of the well-recognized players in the NFL world, arguably among the top cornerbacks. Former coaches often highlight Sutton’s high football IQ as one of his standout qualities. His impact on the teams can be evident from the fact that even after his trade from the Steelers to the Lions, coach Mike Tomlin called him a “talented and mature guy.

While he showcases an ingenious presence on the field, there has been one individual who has been spotted at many games of the professional, supporting and cheering for him. It is none other than his girlfriend, Courtney Alexander. Reportedly, the two have been in a relationship for 5 years and she has seen Sutton transitioning from yellow and black to blue and white.

Per Times Now, Cameron Sutton and Courtney Alexander started dating in 2019 when Sutton played as a cornerback for the Steelers. They shared a strong bond and both had an interest in stones. Alexander introduced Sutton to the idea that different stones could transform people’s lives. Both will engage in practices like channeling energy into stones and shopping for various precious and semi-precious stones together.

From this tight-knit bond, Sutton developed so much interest in stones that he would keep stones and crystals for his practices and sometimes carry many stones together for games, believing that they are capable of transforming energy. Sutton even has a 10-inch large crystal in his locker. Besides their shared interest in stones, Sutton and Alexander bonded over other things too.

Courtney is known to support Sutton at his games, but not much else is known about her except her passion for traditional stone jewelry and arts and crafts. She is a rather private person. Meanwhile, Sutton has two daughters- Luna and Eye’Lah. Not much has been shared about their mother but the player is close to them and often shares of glimpse of their bonding time on his Instagram handle. As per coach Mike Tomlin, “I always hesitate because the first thing I think about is his above-the-neck game, his maturity and his preparation. But in stating that first, you’re almost disrespectful to his talents. He’s a talented guy.” In his 2022 season, he held opposing quarterbacks to a low competition range (47.9%) and passer rating (65.3) and set a career-high in pass deflections. Even in 2023, he continued his solid performance, recording tackles (61), interceptions (1), and pass deflections (6).
