Chase Young Girlfriend: Meet Sophie Piteo, 49ers’ DE’s Quiet Supporter From Their College Days

After the 2023 regular season, the Washington Commanders decided to trade Chase Young. It might have been the best thing that happened to him. Transferring from a losing team to a winning one might have motivated him. He is headed for the Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs. Talk about manifestation and luck!

It’s his fourth season in the NFL, and much has changed since he stepped into the league. One thing that hasn’t changed is the support he gets from his girlfriend, Sophie Piteo. The couple has been together since college and has endured through thick and thin. It’s only fair that we take some time off and talk about Piteo.

Who is Sophie Piteo?

Sophie Piteo was born on August 15, 1999, in Ohio. The couple met in college at Ohio State University. Their love for sports united them, among other things. Sophie Piteo was born to Jaylene and James Piteo and raised in Ohio. Piteo was a good athlete in high school and a National Honor Society member.

Per some sources, her sister Sarah plays softball at Muskingum University, Ohio. Later in life, Chase’s girlfriend completed a degree in psychology (2020) and started working with the Tailwind Group in Ohio (2020-21) as a community assistant. For all we know, she also has a flair for law because she is pursuing a doctorate in law from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.

A little research will show that she has had different careers at different times. However, she keeps her love life a bit private, and so does her Instagram account. Pictures of her are also pretty non-existent on Chase’s profile.

The Ohio native might have inherited her parents’ penchant for sophisticated jobs, as her mother works in IT and her father works in the construction sector. As discussed, the Ohio native doesn’t have much presence on social media, as her IG account, @sophiepiteo, boasts just a few more than 2k followers.

Hopefully, she will attend the Super Bowl LVIII to watch her boyfriend play against the Kansas City Chiefs to throw off Patrick Mahomes and his squad and have a chance at the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
